I'm not really sure what to do for my takeaway; one idea I did have, however, was to hand out wristbands embossed with a red, white, and blue hue and with the words "Remember PTSD" or something similar. However, that will most probably be too expensive.
This is a problamatic one. I will have to think on this one. Try to go deeper. I thought about handing out an emergency aspirin...with the slogan this will make a headache go away, but ptsd is harder to manage. Not quite right.
ReplyDeleteA cut heals in a week, a broken bone in 6 weeks, recovering from surgery 6 months, but ptsd....? It can last a lifetime.

How about a badge with rwb ribbon...and letters PTSD? They don't give badges/purple hearts for ptsd.
